What is the BioRePeel treatment?
BioRePeel is a chemical peel treatment, particularly known for its "no downtime" approach, that uses a combination of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and other acids to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin, addressing concerns like acne, sun damage, and fine lines.
Steps and benefits of this facial include:
Exfoliation: The treatment exfoliates and dissolves bonds between cells, removing the top layer of skin to reveal a refreshed, smoother layer underneath.
Bio stimulation: It stimulates fibroblast cells, which are responsible for collagen and elastin production, leading to improved skin texture and a more youthful appearance.
Revitalization: The treatment promotes healthy skin formation and cell turnover.
Addresses various skin concerns: Acne, sun damage, fine lines, uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores.
Minimal downtime: Unlike traditional chemical peels, BioRePeel offers minimal downtime, making it suitable for busy lifestyles. And safe for all skin tones.
Rachel note: “A BioRePeel is accompanied by a dermaplane to help the peel go deeper (depending if you want one of course!) and also accompanied by an LED Red Light and Oxygen Dome Therapy session. Traditionally TCA peels used to require a lengthy downtime so this is formulated to achieve the same results with minimum down time.”

What happens during a custom facial?
For starters, this is ideal for a first time client to chat about your skin concerns, goals, objectives, skin dreams and get to know each other. Also a great facial if you don't know what to book so I can fully assess what I think would be best suited for your skin for the best optimal results. Aside from that, every single facial ends up being a custom facial :)

What is microneedling?
During this facial we are using a stamp of needles to create micro injuries on the top layer of the skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin's healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin.
Rachel Note: “The treatment is also known as collagen induction therapy. First we double cleanse, dermaplane, mask, numbing cream, then start microneedling. This treatment looks different than a medical setting treatment because of the extra relaxation elements to make it a more comfortable experience. You leave with an aftercare bag of goodies and instructions to ensure optimal results.”

What is the Stem Cell Micro-channeling Treatment?
Using AnteAge growth factor serum, based off of your specific needs whether that be treating acne, or stubborn pigmentation, these specialty growth factor serums utilize needless microchannels in conjunction with specialized serums that utilize donated human bone marrow stem cells.
Rachel note: “I know what you're thinking, 'human bone marrow?!' AnteAge researched multiple forms of stem cells from plant to embryonic, and with their findings, human bone marrow yielded the best results for inflammation, accelerates healing and promotes your body's ability to produce its own collagen.”

What is Dermaplaning and do you offer it?
Yes i do! This add on is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a sterile scalpel to gently exfoliate the skin and remove 'peach fuzz'.
Does it hurt? No!
Should I do it myself….?
Rachel note: “In order to do a safe derma plane, a scalpel that has a straight edge when held at a proper angle by the profession under a bright light to accurately shave where needed is safer than i.e the target razors which have a jagged edge that can potentially cause discomfort and bleeding, spread bacteria, and create acne.”
